Trending Tuesday: Lace Up Heels

Trending Tuesday: Lace Up Heels

Sophisticated and feminine or rocking serious sex appeal, the best thing about the hottest trend in footwear is their versatility.

Whether it’s a subtle ankle tie or a lace-up detail the goes far beyond the calf, the lace up trend can easily be played up or down and worn with anything from red carpet gowns to work outfits to day-time glam get-ups.

Lace-up heels have adorned the footwear of celebrities, fashion editors and “it-girls” in recent months, including Alexa Chung, Olivia Palermo and Kim Kardashian.

Black lace-ups can evoke class or edge, while nude styles elongate the legs.

Then there are the printed ones and those with metallic hues, which resemble feet jewellery.

From collections by high-end designers to heels by fast fashion chains, there’s now a plethora of choice available.

Beautiful inspo below. Enjoy!
