The wrap dress is a timeless wardrobe staple and I love my new black, sleeveless, maxi version.
Ever since Diane von Furstenberg introduced them to the fashion world in 1972, the wrap dress has re-emerged every few years in force.
It’s definitely the perfect clothing for looking and feeling tastefully sexy and classy!
My dress from Dissh features a collared neck, wrap front, pockets and splits at the sides, which gives it a modern twist.
I’ve paired it with a bold lip and fine silver necklace today to keep things simple.
The light-weight fabric is fantastic for comfort in the current heat, but I’m looking forward to Autumn kicking in, so I can pair the dress with other accessories (like cute ankle boots) and coats.
Thanks for following my blog! I absolutely love how you incorporate little bits and pieces of fashion history into your blog! I look forward to your future posts! <3
Thank you for reading and following! It’s lovely to have feedback as a beginner blogger. As a history nerd and fashion enthusiast it’s great to be able to combine my two loves into my writing. I really enjoying reading your blog and will certainly be coming back to see more (especially for your nail polish product tips as I’m in need of inspo).
You’re so welcome!!! Welcome to blogging – I’m somewhat new myself! I only began my blog back in September 2014 and I love how supportive everyone is! You’ll definitely find plenty of nail polish and Essie inspo from me (my favorite)!! 🙂
