Life’s just peachy with mermaid hair! Colour Addict Spray Chalk review

Dreaming of pastel coloured, mermaid hair, but don’t want to commit permanently?

This is me, every so often, as you can see from this post and this post on hair chalk, so when I stumbled upon the Colour Addict Coloured Spray Chalk in peach at Priceline, I wanted to test it.

The spray part on this product made it sound like a quick process.

And, it was. Super easy. Plus, the colour was incredibly vibrant.

When I saw how highly pigmented it was, I was concerned that it would take a few shampoos for the colour to be removed, but it was all pretty much gone after one wash. I was really impressed.

It also didn’t seem to dry out my hair quite as much as some previous colouring products. A little, but I have dry hair.

Here’s all you need to do.

  1. peach hair chalkn coloured blogger mermaidBegin by protecting your shoulders and back with a towel to avoid chalk falling on your skin or clothes.
  2. Put product on your hair. I learnt this tip from using Kevin Murphy’s colour bug. You can use leave in conditioner, gel or dry shampoo. This will help make it easier to wash out the product after, especially if you have blonde hair like mine.
  3. Spray the chalk onto the desired sections of dry hair – the directions recommend around 15cm away.
  4. Seal the colour in with hairspray to avoid any fall out.

Pinks and peaches are my temporary hair colour of choice, but this product also comes in cyan, fire engine, flamingo, violet, mint and lilac.
